25 ft Fantail Timber Launch "Alice"
Constructed 2009 to exacting traditional methods by shipwright David Smith in conjunction with Newcastle Tafe.
Alice was copied from a 1910 hull found in the mud in Dora creek, Lake Macquarie, and with her construction preserves Australian maritime heritage and history in a stunning way from the early 1900's.
A beautiful vessel to behold, and when putting around the bay seems to slow down time.
